I took my two sons - 14 and 16 years at the time, now 22 and 24 - to our first Missions trip to Bucharest 9 years ago. We ministered in a city park and at an Assemblies church and more. I am so thrilled to hear how the Lord is continuing to work in Romania. Our trip was a life-changing experience for myself and my sons. The Romanian people are unbelievably warm and strong. I prayer for them often.God Bless!

There were 2522 in attendance Monday - Friday at 16 events in restaurants, prisons and a concert hall. 705 responded to the Good News.
It is estimated that there were 12,000 in Parcul Izvor during the course of the two days 1.30 thru 9.30pm. – Nigel Gordon, European Festival Director, Luis Palau Association

Thanks for the tip - we’ll look into it. While I’m not personally privvy to how numbers are counted, I do know that a lot oversight, integrity, and care is put into it.

on the website of the Romanian Christian Press Agency the numbers are different. They say there that those numbers were given by the director of the festival.

To my knowledge, any published number is based on documented decisions - people are filling out cards and getting follow up.

It’s also hard to see total numbers from a single perspective. Attendance numbers are often generated with the help of park officials, and are of course estimates.

The real news is the response of Romanians to the Gospel!

let`s be honest and admit that there were no more than 10.000 people for both of the days and some of them scattered away at certain moments of the program
At the festival there was a count of somewhere around 300 people becoming christian for both of the days...how come they`ve got up to 1700 ?

I praise the Lord, for this. I am from Romania, living in US now since 2006, and I was praying for this festival to come to Romania also. Romania needs Jesus so much. And I am so happy this happened, my brother and my sister were there and they were so blessed by this and how they put it “the passion for Christ became stronger”.
God Bless all of you for being a part of God’s work. He is doing a great Job through you.
